SQL Cruise Alaska 2012 Welcomes Allen White as a Speaker
SQL Cruise 2012 Alaska is proud to welcome Allen White as a guest speaker courtesy of our partnership with SQL Sentry (press release). Allen will be providing his deep knowledge and proven presentation skills as he teaches SQL Cruisers how to utilize Powershell to monitor and troubleshoot their SQL Server instances. He’ll be covering the basics of Powershell, navigating the SMO model, and then will dig right into the opportunities that Powershell provides for today’s Database Administrator.
Allen is a Practice Manager for Upsearch Technology Services in Northeast Ohio. He’s been working with SQL Server for almost 20 years, and with PowerShell for 5 years. Allen has been awarded Microsoft’s MVP Award for the last five years. He’s President of the Ohio North SQL Server User’s Group and maintains a blog at SQLBlog.com.
