SQL Cruise Caribbean 2013 in Photos

January 25th found us in Miami, Florida for a Tweetup with the three South Florida SQL Server User Groups.  After a night of SQL and conversation 30+ SQL Cruisers, Technical Leads, Friends, and Family headed for the Port of Miami to board the NCL Epic and set off for St. Maarten; St. Thomas USVI; and Nassau, The Bahamas.  Along the way we learned how to optimize our time, be more productive, and how to gain influence in our organizations.  We learned how to use Powershell to install SQL Server on Windows Core and then how to administer the instance.  We learned tricks and techniques for managing a large enterprise environment and about Active Directory, Policy Based Management, Kerberos, and took a deep dive into how SQL Server 2012 manages memory.

We also had a lot of fun and developed contacts and skills that will last for the rest of our careers.  So what are you waiting for?  Join us on a future SQL Cruise!
